You didn’t get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate energy policy.

You didn’t get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.

You didn’t get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.

You didn’t get mad when we spent over 1 trillion (and counting) on said illegal war.

You didn’t get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.

You didn’t get mad when you saw the Abu Ghraib photos.

You didn’t get mad when you found out we were torturing people.

You didn’t get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.

You didn’t get mad when we didn’t catch Bin Laden.

You didn’t get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.

You didn’t get mad when we let a major US city drown.

You didn’t get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.

You finally got mad when.. when… wait for it… when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all ok with you but helping other Americans… well fuck that. That about right? You know it is.

You people have all lost your fucking minds. You are selfish, greedy, obnoxious, narcissistic, and frankly… stupid. Your pathetic little misspelled protest signs are embarrassing. Maybe you ought to find the smart person in your midst and let them make up all the signs, cause man, you look like a bunch of idiots. Also you’re ugly and your mother dresses you funny.

Memorial Day reminds us that our brave young men and women continue to fight and die in the Bush-Cheney wars of lies.

1. Cheney’s Iraq-Torture Scandal

In 2002 and 2003, Dick Cheney ordered the torture of key prisoners captured in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Cheney says he ordered torture to stop another terrorist attack, but the evidence is now clear: Cheney wanted false “confessions” to justify the unprovoked U.S. invasion of Iraq.

Those “confessions” were featured in key pre-war speeches by Cheney, George Bush, and Colin Powell that betrayed Congress, the American people, and the world.

Thus the “Torture” scandal and the “Iraq” scandal are not two separate scandals, but one massive and historically disastrous scandal: the Iraq-Torture Scandal.

Cheney claims his torture “saved hundreds of thousands of lives.” In reality, it cost hundreds of thousands of lives – innocent Iraqi lives. It also killed over 4,300 U.S. soldiers, maimed hundreds of thousands more, cost U.S. taxpayers $3 trillion dollars, and profoundly damaged U.S. credibility and security.

Dick Cheney understands the enormity of his crimes and launched a public relations war to protect himself, including carefully-chosen TV interviews and speeches. His daughter (and chief defender) Liz Cheney admitted her father’s greatest fear is prosecution.

It’s time for Congress to investigate the massive Iraq-Torture Scandal – and for the Department of Justice to prosecute Dick Cheney for creating it.

It’s hardball time!

The crooks that ran this country for the last eight years appear to want to do their worst in preventing our country from pulling itself out of this depression. They are giving the new President much difficulty in trying to get a package passed. They want to add the same kind of breaks for big business that got us into this predicament in the first place. President Obama must take action and go after these crooks for all their misdeeds, high crimes and treason that they did in the last eight years. These individuals must be made to realize that the American people have spoken and they should not be taken lightly. From the false flag operation of 911 to the privatization and raping of our infrastructure these criminals must be held accountable. Cheney is out there saying the American people aren’t smart enough to govern themselves so let’s not heed their mandate. Americans unite, don’t stand for it.

OPEC cutting production? Local Gas Stations hike prices same day!

OK, it’s been in the news most of the day, that the OPEC Nations are planning on cutting back production in the hopes of making oil barrel prices go up, the way they were during Bush’s heyday. Reaping all that ill gotten gains from fabricated emergencies and allowed acts of terrorism’s. But, more on that later, right now, all you have to do is drive around Citrus County and you can see that most gas stations have all ready increased their prices in anticipation of a cutback of oil production by the OPEC Nations. How blatant can price gouging be? The whole atmosphere of screwing the public has become the persona of business today in America, another example of the residue of the cronyism and crookedness that has pervaded most aspects of this Nation for the last eight years! It is especially apparent with the collapse of our whole economic system. I warned over two years ago that things were going to get much worst. I did this in the debate I had with the other candidates who were running in the special election for district 43. I ran as an independent and unfortunately the Republican party in Citrus County chooses to run on habit rather than substance. More on the debate later, this price gouging should be looked into immediately by Governor Crist! This type of gouging is not only immoral but may also be illegal. Step up to the plate Governor Crist, take the high road, find out what’s going on in Citrus County. By the way, oil barrel prices actually fell today to $40 a barrel! Now go figure? Must be the stations are getting ready for the holiday spirit!!

On the edge of a long night

Have you ever wondered how human beings can be so cruel? And how cruelty crosses all the bound­aries — national, racial and ethnic? I have. Rereading an autobiog­raphy published in 1941 by a communist agent re­minded me of the dark side of human nature.

The book, “Out of the Night,” was written -under the pseudonym “Jan Valtin” — by a Ger­man who lived through the chaos of the collapse of the Weimar Republic ~ and the rise of Nazism. Broken by Gestapo torture, he ended up being pursued by both the Nazi and the communist man hunters and killers. Murders by these two forms of so­cialism are measured in the mil­lions during the 20th century. That alone should warn all people off any form of collectivism, because all of those millions, in the minds of their killers, were sacrificed “for the greater good.” They — flesh-and-blood individual human beings — were all murdered in the name of an abstraction, a stupid theory of how society should be organized. I doubt if the head thugs on both sides actually believed the theories. What they really believed in was power over their fellow man.

If you look at the French Revolu­tion and the Bolshevik Revolution, the message is clear: Intellectuals and the common people can pro­duce a blood bath. Latching on to some “ism” for justification, their greed for power and de­sire for revenge can run amok. Butchering women and children be­cause they were born into the “wrong” class is surely insane.

In our time, when peo­ple are saying we must sacrifice liberty for secu­rity, that scrapping the Constitution is necessary to win the “war” against terrorism, I would suggest “that you take your choice of genocides in the past 100 years and remind yourself what happens when people buy into the false proposition that the end justifies the means. People who preach that are always more interested in the means than in any end.

The only safe environment for a human being is under a weak gov­ernment with very restricted pow­ers. Normal people don’t need much to be happy — food, shelter, dignity and freedom from maraud­ers. They need a rule of law that ap­plies to everyone equally and at all times and in all circumstances. In established societies, legislators should meet rarely—perhaps once every two or three years—because a continuing cascade of new laws will eventually drown freedom.

The Founding Fathers, whether through luck, wisdom or divine guidance, gave us an almost perfect form of government, and we’ve been busy ever since trying to take it apart. Human beings are .danger­ous predators and cannot be trusted with power over their fellows. Many Americans have forgotten that the power of government comes out of the barrel of a gun. Governments coerce; they don’t persuade.

There are people living among us at this very moment capable of the cruelty so evident in the Holocaust All they are waiting for is the op­portunity. No greater opportunity exists than when a government en­lists such people and says whatever you do is now justified for the sake of the “greater good.”

Who would have guessed that George W Bush, who seemed to be a genial good old boy, would turn out to be a tyrant, launching wars of aggres­sion, arresting and confining people without charges or access to a lawyer, condoning torture and lying to the American people? A government that can without trial destroy you by sim­ply putting on a list your name or the name of an organization with which you are associated is a tyranny. A government that invades other countries and that feels free to murder people in any country it chooses is a tyranny.

Americans are on the edge of a long night. We had better wake up and step back before it’s too late.

IT’S OVER!

Well, it’s over. I would like to thank everyone who helped with the signatures and money for my campaign. It was an interesting experience that only reinforced my view of politics and who really runs this State and Country. The Golden Rule still applies those with the most GOLD RULES. If I had been able to get elected one of my first priorities would have been to introduce legislation enacting public financing of campaigns and the eliminations of Political Action Committees. And if it didn’t pass we could have organized opposition to all those who voted against it. Only with public campaign financing will this Nation ever return to Democracy. The days are numbered. Corporate America controls all the media outlets in the Nation. When you are bombarded by ads and programming propagating their views then they have eliminated the necessity for political debate and the discussion of the real problems that face us. War is peace for Corporate America and hate is money. God Bless us.

CITRUS CHRONICLE BURIES ME!

If you check out the Chronicle this morning you’ll realize where their interests lie, they pretty much buried me and to a lesser degree the Democratic candidate Sophia Diaz Fronseca. They only printed about 4 sentences of what I had said to the reporter that called me and they absolutely refuse to make mention of my website, EVEN ON THEIR BLOG PAGE! So this is ANOTHER blatant example of Corporate America pulling the wool over the public’s eye. YOU no longer get the news, only the filtered content. My fellow Americans, the time is at hand, believe in yourself and your right to hear the truth. When reporting becomes a selective process it is no longer reporting, but propaganda.

My wife, Corl and I, went to Playhouse 19 last night in Crystal River and saw their production of “HAIR”. It is amazing how relevant that a play that was written 40 years ago is to present day. “Hair” was written about the tragedy that lasted over ten years that this country was involved in, the Viet Nam War. This was the granddaddy of Corporate America’s manipulation of our Nation. Of course, since then they have refined their manipulated skills and have taken possession of most of the media outlets in the country, so who knows how long our struggle in Iraq will continued unabated? The Cast and Crew at Playhouse 19 did an excellent job and I would recommend anyone to go and see one of their productions!
